Joint—Orbital Tracker dialog box (SST)
| Option | Description |

| Name | Specify the name and a Label for the Joint modeling object. Enter a meaningful name and enter a unique numeric identifier for the label.Description opens an editor which lets you type a description for the constraint. |
| Orientation | |
| Rotation Axis | Specifies the axis of rotation of the joint modeling object. Global Cyclic AnalysisAppears if you defined the cyclic symmetry cylindrical coordinate system in the FEM. Rotates the joint around the Z-axis of the cyclic symmetry cylindrical coordinate system. User-DefinedLets you specify the axis of rotation. Use the Specify Vector options to specify the direction of revolution, and use the Specify Point options to specify the location of the axis. |
| Alignment | |
| Specify Vector | Lets you specify the alignment vector that points toward one of the options in the Align with list. During the orbital simulation, the model rotates about the defined axis so that the alignment vector points as closely as possible to the selected Align with option. Use the different vector construction methods to define the normal.See Vector dialog box for more information. |
| Align with | Designates the direction that the specified vector on the model must always aim, for example Nadir, Star, or Velocity Vector. |
| Orbit Selection | |
| Orbit | Lets you select a previously defined Orbit modeling object from the Orbit list or create a parent orbit using Create Modeling Object .You can select All Active Orbits or select a specific orbit. |
| Parent Joint | |
| Select Joint | Lets you select previously defined Joint or Joint- Orbital Tracking modeling objects from the Parent Joint list or create a joint using Open Manager . Use parent joints to model coupled or sequential movements of your system. |
