Load histograms
A load histogram is a visualization of the relative number and magnitude of the cycles in a load history. It is constructed by plotting the number of cycles at a given load amplitude on the horizontal axis, and the corresponding load amplitude on the vertical axis.
For example, the load history shown in the figure Time History has the load histogram plotted in the figure Cumulative Cycle Count. You can read from it that there are 11 stress cycles with an amplitude of at least 60 MPa in the time history.
