Right-click commands for the zone nodes

Different command are available depending on which node you right-click in the Simulation Navigator.

Zones node commands

The following commands appear when you right-click the Zones node in the Simulation Navigator.

Icon	Command name	Description
	View Laminate	Opens the View Laminate dialog box to let you display the laminate physical property for a selected face or element.
	Auto-create Zone FE Groups	Creates element groups. Each group contains the 2D elements and 2D element faces in one zone and has the name of that zone.
	Create Laminate Physical Properties	Creates physical properties corresponding to the physical properties of the zone when you create the solver input file. See Zone-based physical properties and element groups for more information.
	Compute Zones	Divides the elements related to layups into zones. See Creating zones for more information.
	Information	Generates an Information window that displays the number of zones and the number of physical property or properties that reference them.
	Display Zone Color	Displays colors for all the zones in the FEM or Assembly FEM.
	Hide Zone Color	Turns off the zone color display for all the zones in the FEM or Assembly FEM.

Individual laminate physical property node commands

The following commands appear when you right-click the individual laminate physical property node in the Simulation Navigator.

Icon	Command name	Description
	Auto-create Zone FE Groups	Creates element groups. Each group contains the 2D elements and 2D element faces in one zone and has the name of that zone.
	Create Laminate Physical Properties	Creates physical properties corresponding to the physical properties of the zone when you create the solver input file. See Zone-based physical properties and element groups for more information.
	Compute Zones	Divides the elements related to the physical property into zones. See Creating zones for more information.
	Information	Generates an Information window that displays the number of zones referenced by the physical property.
	Display Zone Color	Displays colors for all the zones associated to the selected laminate physical property, and maintains the display for previously displayed zones, from another laminate physical property.
	Hide Zone Color	Turns off the zone color display for all the zones associated to the selected laminate physical property, and maintains the display for previously displayed zones from another laminate.

Individual zone node commands

The following commands appear when you right-click the individual zone node in the Simulation Navigator.

	View Laminate	Opens the View Laminate dialog box to let you display the laminate physical property for a selected face or element.
	Auto-create Zone FE Group	Creates an element group that contains the 2D elements and 2D element faces in the zone. The new group has the name of the zone.
	Create Laminate Physical Property	Creates a physical property table corresponding to the physical property table of the zone when you create the solver input file. See Zone-based physical properties and element groups for more information.
	Display Zone Color	Displays colors for the selected zone, and maintains the display for previously displayed zones.
	Hide Zone Color	Turns off the zone color display for the selected zone, and maintains the display for previously displayed zones.
	Zone Properties	In an Information window, displays the ply details, the reference plane position and other details about the layup in the zone.
