Strain Life Damage Parameter dialog box

Name-Description
Name Sets a unique name for the parameter.
Label Sets a unique integer for the parameter. The dialog box automatically displays the next available label number. However, you might want to change this if you use a particular series of numbers to identify certain types of parameters.
Description Sets a description for the parameter. This description appears in the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box only if you add the Description column to the list table. To do that, right-click the column heading row and choose ColumnsConfigure. In the Configure Columns dialog box, select the Description check box and then click OK.
Categorization
Category Sets the category name for this parameter.
Sub-Category Sets the subcategory name for this parameter. The subcategory appears in the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box only if you add the Sub-Category column to the list table.
Properties
Damage Parameter Specifies the damage parameter to use.P_SWT OriginalUses the Smith-Watson-Topper (SWT) equations with mean stress correction.P_SWT LinearUses the SWT equations with a linearized version of the life curve.P_SWT TorsionUses the SWT equations for torsion.P_SWT Torsion LinearUses the SWT equations for torsion with linearization.P_BergmannUses the Bergmann parameter to weight the mean stress influence of the SWT equation.MorrowUses a Morrow equation to apply mean stress correction to the elastic strain in the Manson-Coffin formula.Note: The P_SWT Torsion and P_SWT Torsion Linear parameters do not distinguish between positive and negative mean stress. If you use torsion parameters, be sure to use the maximum shear approach for FEM analysis. For more information, see Mean stress and damage parameters.
Start Linearization At Appears when Damage Parameter is set to P_SWT Linear or P_SWT Torsion Linear.Sets the start point for log-log linear regression.
End Linearization At Appears when Damage Parameter is set to P_SWT Linear or P_SWT Torsion Linear.Sets the end point for log-log linear regression.
Mean Stress Influence Factor Appears when Damage Parameter is set to P_Bergmann.Sets the mean stress influence factor.
