Nastran system cells
System cells are Executive System operational parameters specified by the NASTRAN statement. The System Cells dialog box provides a complete graphical interface to all Simcenter Nastran system cells. System cells are listed by system cell number exactly as they appear in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide for easy reference.
When you define a solution parameters modeling object and include that object in a solution, the parameters that you specify are specified by the NASTRAN statement when you solve the model. By defining system cells as a solver-specific modeling object, you can easily re-use a set of system cells among multiple solutions.
See NASTRAN in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide for a summary of recommended system cells and the valid values for each.
User defined system cells
You can use the User Defined option in the System Cells dialog box to specify system cells that are not currently documented. System cells are optional parameters that you can specify at runtime. When you specify one or more system cells in the User Defined box, each line:
Must begin with the string "NASTRAN" followed by a space character.
Must be 72 characters in length, or shorter.
