CGNS output files

The table lists the CGNS output files written by the software when you export the finite element model and solution results. The exported CGNS files are in Advanced Data Format (ADF). The Output request column indicates the 3D flow output request to specify to generate the exported CGNS files containing solution results. In Multiphysics, you request them in either Flow Output Requests or Thermal-Flow Output Requests modeling object. In Thermal/Flow or Electronic Systems Cooling, you request them in the 3D Flow subgroup, on the Results Options page, in the Solution dialog box.

Note:

When you include the OUTPUT_CGNS_VERSION_2.5 advanced parameter in the solution, you can export solution results to CGNS version 2.5.3 instead of version 3.2.1. To set an advanced parameter, see Define Advanced Parameters.
