Nodal Force Report Extraction dialog box
| Nodal Force Report | |
|---|---|
| Name | Lists the nodal force reports that you can select. The software extracts results for the margin of safety calculation from the selected nodal force report. |
| Add | Shows the status of the Add all Forces and Moments check box in the Nodal Force Report dialog box. |
| Step | Shows the setting specified in the Step list in the Nodal Force Report dialog box. |
| Create Nodal Force Report | Opens the dialog box to create a nodal force report. |
| Edit Nodal Force Report | Available when a nodal force report is selected in the table.Opens the selected nodal force report for editing. |

| Operations | |
| Filtering | Specifies the values that you want to be considered for the margin of safety calculation.RangeUse to restrict the values to those that lie within the specified range.**Only Positive Values (> = 0)**Use to restrict the values to positive values and zero.**Only Negative Values (< = 0)**Use to restrict the values to negative values and zero.Note: The software processes the Filtering and Absolute Values commands sequentially with filtering first. |
| Absolute Values | Specifies whether you want to convert negative values that are considered for the margin of safety calculation to positive values. |
| Conversion | Available when the software recognizes an incompatibility between the result type that you select and the result type the method requires.Specifies the multiplier or divisor that corrects for the incompatibility between the result type that you select and the result type the method requires. For more information, see Extracting a single value from the set of results (margin of safety). |
| Factor | When the Conversion box is available, specifies a multiplier that scales the result that is used in the margin of safety calculation. When the Conversion box is unavailable, specifies a multiplier that scales the result that is used in the margin of safety calculation, and, specifies a multiplier that corrects for any dimensional or unit incompatibility between the result type that you select and the result type the method requires. For more information, see Extracting a single value from the set of results (margin of safety). |
