Connect thermal streams at a junction
This example shows how to connect multiple Thermal Stream loads using the Thermal Streams Junction simulation object. You need to select at least two thermal streams to create a junction.
Click Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Simulation Object Type list →Thermal Streams Junction .
In the Name group, type a meaningful name.
In the Stream Inlets 1-5 group, from the Inlet 1 list, select the thermal stream whose inlet is connected to the junction.Alternatively, you can select the thermal stream from the Simulation Navigator or in the graphics window. If a new stream is needed, you can also create it using Create Thermal Stream . For more information, see Create a two-sided stream on edges.
In the remaining inlet boxes of the Stream Inlets 1-5 group and in the Stream Inlets 6-20 group, select up to 20 thermal streams with inlets connected to the junction.
In the Stream Outlets 1-5 and Stream Outlets 6-20 groups, select up to 20 thermal streams with outlets connected to the junction.
Click OK.
