Response Contribution Set - Fluid dialog box (Nastran)

Use this dialog box to define the entities for contribution by specifying a contribution set.

Common options for Pressure and Acoustic Power response types

Modeling Object
Name Defines the name of the modeling object.
Label Specifies a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Properties
Description Enter a brief description or click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description.
Response Type Displays the response type of Pressure and Acoustic Power.

Pressure response type options

Group Reference Acoustic mode contributions express the contribution of a given acoustic mode to the response at the selected fluid nodes.Lets you select a pre-defined group of nodes in the fluid mesh for the contribution set.For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object Lets you select the nodes to define the contribution set. Note: To request pressure modal contribution on microphones, include microphone nodes in the entity selection.ExcludedLets you remove individual entities from within the selected object.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.

Acoustic Power response type options

New Group Opens the New Group dialog box, which lets you define a new group.See Create a group by manually selecting the contents.
Find Lets you search for an object by entering the full name of the object. For example, to find a group named ABC_group, you must type ABC_group into the search box.After typing the name, press Enter or click Find . If the object is found, it will be selected automatically.
Filter by Name Lets you filter the list by the names of the objects. This filter supports wildcards. The default wildcard of * displays all entries in the list. For example, to filter the list to display every object with a name starting with the letter "a," enter a* as the filter string.
