Region dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

Name
Name	Defines the name for the region.
Label	Lets you specify a unique numerical identifier for the region.
Region Objects
Group Reference	Lets you use a group to define a region. For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object	Lets you select the edges, faces, elements, or nodes to define a new region.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods	Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.
Nonlinear Contact Parameter
Rigid/Flexible Target	Lets you choose between a Flexible or a Rigid target.Note: You can only make that choice for a target surface meshed with 2D elements.
Select Master Grid Point	Appears when you choose a Rigid target. Lets you define the master grid point of that surface.For more information, see the Samcef MASN parameter of the Samcef .MCT command.
Card Name	Displays the name of the corresponding solver command.
