Create a correlation solution process
Before creating a correlation solution process, you should have in the same Simulation file both reference and work solutions.
Choose Correlation tab→Correlation group→Correlation .
(Optional) Give a meaningful name to the correlation solution process.
In the Reference Solution (Test or Analysis) group, select the reference solution.For a structural or acoustic modal correlation solution process, the reference solution can be either a test solution or the analysis solution.For a FRF correlation solution process, the reference solution can only be a test solution.
In the Work Solution (Analysis) group, select the work solution.It should be an analysis solution.
(Optional) For a shape correlation, in the Subcase Selection group, select a subcase for the analysis reference solution, a subcase for the work solution, and a measurement type.From the Measurement Type list, you can select Auto-Detect so that the software automatically finds one or more common measurement types for the selected subcases.
For a shape correlation solution process, you can:Deselect the Exclude Low-Frequency Modes check box, if you want to include low frequency modes with a frequency below the Cutoff Frequency (Hz) that you specify.Select the Exclude High-Frequency Modes check box, if you want to exclude modes with a frequency above the Cutoff Frequency (Hz) that you specify.
In the Node Map Settings group, enter the value for Matching Tolerance that the software uses to match work nodes to reference nodes.
(Optional) Select the Allow Size Reduction check box, if you want to limit the size of the node map, which is created between the work and reference solutions, that you specify in the Size Limit box.
Click OK.
