Keeping superelement use files for recovery purposes (Simcenter Samcef)

To recover results in your superelement, you must keep the Simcenter Samcef intermediate files that Simcenter Samcef creates during the use of a superelements solution solve.

By default, Simcenter Samcef will create and keep the *.sdb and *.u18 files.

To ensure that intermediate files are kept for recovery purposes, select Keep Temporary Files for Results Recovery and Recombination in the Temporary Files tab of the solution.

Where do I find it?

• In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the Solution, choose Edit Solver Parameters and in the Temporary Files page, select the Keep Temporary Files for Results Recovery and Recombination check box.

• Choose Home tab→Solution group→Solve . On the Solve dialog box, click Edit Solver Parameters and in the Temporary Files page, select the Keep Temporary Files for Results Recovery and Recombination check box.
