Edit and Apply Layout State dialog box
| List of Data References | |
|---|---|
| Displays a list of all the data references in the saved layout state. | |
| Viewport | Indicates the viewport position in the layout. The position is represented by red. For example, a layout state saved in a four-view layout is represented by . |
| Source | Indicates the contents of the viewport, for example, a post view with a post-processing scenario () or post-processing results (). |
| Display | Specifies the name of the post view, XY plot, or post-processing scenario. For example, Post View ID or XY Plot ID. |
| Object | Specifies the source object, such as simulation results, imported results, or data source for a post-processing scenario. |
| Status | Specifies the status of the data reference.ResolvedThe data source points to the required data.UnresolvedThe data source points to missing or incompatible data, such as a missing file, incorrect file location, or incorrect file format.When the status is Resolved, the value for the object shows the selected object. When the status is Unresolved, the value simply helps you to select a new value. |
| Imported ResultAppears if the results are imported. | |
| File Path | Displays the current path to the imported results. |
| New File Path | Type a path and file name or click Browse to browse to the file.The software infers and stores the path to the file. If the location of the file changes, the software uses the stored relative path information to try to locate the file. For more information, see Relative path support for external files. |
| Note: When you click a data reference, additional options appear at the bottom of the dialog box. For more information, see Data references in the Edit and Apply Layout State dialog box.For example, mass, time, and temperature units for a contour plot. You can change the units. |
