Create multiple physical design variables
This example shows how to:
Create physical design variables of type PBAR where all fields can be optimized.
Add the created design variables to the DESOPT200 — Model Update solution.
Display the created design variables in the Simulation Navigator.
Choose Correlation tab→Model Update group→Create Multiple Design Variables .
In the Name Seed box, enter MDV.
From the Design Variable Type list, select Physical.
In the Relation (DVPREL1) subgroup, verify that Type is set to PBAR.
Click Select All Entities .
Click Select All Fields .
Click OK.
In the Simulation Navigator , right-click the SOL 200 Model Update solution node and choose Edit.
Click the Bulk Data tab.
In the Design Variables row, click Create Design Variables .
In the Selection group, from the design variables table, select all design variables whose names start with MDV PBAR.
Click Add to List.
Click Close.
Click OK in the Solution dialog box.
In the Simulation Navigator , right-click the work solution results node under the Model Update solution process node and choose Reload.
Click the Design Variables [#] node to display the information in the Correlation Details View subpanel.
