Properties
Time Duration of Step Specifies the total time allowed for the step.
Time Incrementation Controls how Abaqus divides the time within a step into increments in a quasi-static analyses.AutomaticSpecifies automatic time incrementation. Abaqus automatically adjusts the size of the time increments to solve the problem efficiently.FixedSpecifies fixed time incrementation. You directly control the time incrementation.
Initial Time Increment Available if Time Incrementation is set to Automatic.Specifies the suggested initial time increment. This value should be a reasonable suggestion for the initial increment size. Abaqus adjusts this value as necessary.
Minimum Time Increment Available if Time Incrementation is set to Automatic.Specifies the minimum time increment allowed. If Abaqus needs a smaller time increment than this value, the solve terminates.
Maximum Time Increment Available if Time Incrementation is set to Automatic.Specifies the maximum time increment allowed. If you do not specify a value, Abaqus does not impose any upper limit on the time increment.
Time Increment Size Available if Time Incrementation is set to Fixed.Specifies the amount of time for each increment.
DELTMX: Max. Temp. Change per Inc. Specifies the maximum allowable temperature change during a Transient Analysis step in a Heat Transfer solution. Abaqus restricts the time step to ensure that this value is not exceeded at any node during any increment of the step, except at nodes whose temperature degree-of-freedom is constrained with boundary . If you do not specify a value in this box, Abaqus uses fixed time increments for the step.
Stopping Condition Controls when the analysis stops for the current step.At Specified TimeSpecifies that the analysis runs for the specified period of time.Run to Steady StateSpecifies that Abaqus should terminate the analysis when a steady state is reached.
Temp. Change Rate for Steady-State Available if Stopping Condition is set to **Run to Steady State.**Lets you specify the temperature change rate (temperature per time) that Abaqus uses to define a steady state. When all nodal temperatures change at less than this rate, Abaqus terminates the solution.
