Apply Attributes from Selection Recipe dialog box

| Selection Recipe | Displays the name of the selection recipe whose attributes will be applied to the selected entities.You cannot change this name. |
| Entity Type | Displays the type of entity specified for the attribute strategy.This controls the type of entity to which you can apply the attributes from the selection recipe. For example, if Entity Type is set to Polygon Face, you can apply the attributes from the selection recipe only to polygon faces.You cannot change the entity type. |
| Input Filter | Displays the type of input filter specified for the attribute strategy.This controls where you can apply the attributes from the selection recipe. For example, if Input Filter is set to Polygon Body, you can apply the attributes only to entities associated with polygon bodies.You cannot change the input filter. |
| Discrete Attribute Preference | Appears when the Create Selection Recipe or Attribute Strategy dialog box for the selection recipe meets all the following criteria:Attribute is set to Name or User Attribute.When Attribute is set to User Attribute, Type is set to Integer, Number, or String.Value Type is set to Discrete Values.Specifies which value to apply to the selected entity.First ValueApplies the first value in the list of discrete values to the selected entity.Last ValueApplies the last value in the list of discrete values to the selected entity.For example, suppose the attribute strategy includes a name attribute for which Value Type is set to Discrete Values, and the discrete values are FORCE1, FORCE2, FORCE3. If you click First Value, then the name for the selected entity is set to FORCE1. If you click Last Value, then the name is set to FORCE3. |
| Range Attribute Preference | Appears when the Create Selection Recipe or Attribute Strategy dialog box for the selection recipe meets all the following criteria:Attribute is set to User Attribute.Type is set to Integer, Number, or String.Value Type is set to Range.Specifies which value to apply to the selected entity.Low ValueApplies the low value in the range to the selected entity.High ValueApplies the high value in the range to the selected entity.For example, suppose the attribute strategy includes a user attribute for which Type is set to Integer, Value Type is set to Range, Low Integer Value is set to 1, and High Integer Value is set to 5. If you click Low Value, then the integer value for the selected entity is set to 1. If you click High Value, then the integer value is set to 5. |

| Select Object | Lets you select the entities whose attributes you want to change so that they match the attributes defined in the selection recipe.Note: All the attributes in the selection recipe are applied to each selected entity, which might overwrite an existing attribute. For example, the selection recipe might be defined to select all blue polygon faces named FORCE. If you select a blue polygon face named LOAD, the existing name is overwritten. |
