Temperature Set dialog box

Type
Type Specifies:Initial/Stress Free TemperatureDefines the temperatures used to determine the initial temperature distribution. This type corresponds to a TEMPERATURE(INITIAL) case control command.Temperature LoadDefines the temperatures used for thermal loading. This type corresponds to a TEMPERATURE(LOAD) case control command. For Simcenter 3D Multiphysics, this type will correspond to a DTEMP case control command if time assigned temperatures are added to the temperature set.Material TemperatureAvailable for Nastran solutions only.Defines the temperatures used to determine temperature-dependent material properties. This type corresponds to a TEMPERATURE(MATERIAL) case control command.
Name
Name Specifies the displayed name for the temperature set.
Label Sets the value that will be assigned as the SID for the set and all of the loads contained by the set.
Description
Description Lets you enter a description for the load set.
Property
Default Temperature Specifies the default temperature for the temperature set. This temperature is used for every node that does not have a defined temperature load. This option corresponds to the TEMPD bulk data entry.Note: For Simcenter 3D Multiphysics, when Type is set to Temperature Load, you can define the default temperature as a time-dependent field. For more information about using a constant value, expression, or field to specify the temperature, see Additional magnitude options.
