Filter selection recipes by owning component

At least one selection recipe must exist before you can filter the list of selection recipes in the Simulation Navigator.

  1. When a Simulation file or assembly FEM file is the displayed part, in the Simulation Navigator, right-click the Selection Recipes node and choose FilterOwning Component.

  2. Select the component FEM associated with the selection recipes that you want to show in the Simulation Navigator. You can select only one component in either the Simulation Navigator or the graphics window. When you select the component, its name appears in the Selected Component box, followed by an ordinal number in brackets. For example, if the displayed part is an assembly FEM file that includes three component FEM files, and you select the last component FEM, [3] appears after the FEM name.

  3. Click OK.Tip: To see how your selection affects the list of selection recipes, click Apply rather than OK. If the list does not display the expected selection recipes, you can select a different component and try again.
