Create a table field from an AFU file

An AFU file is an auxiliary data file that stores table (XY) functions. The table (XY) functions can have real or complex dependent domains.

You can create table fields from the table (XY) functions in the following ways:

  • Create table fields for all the records in an AFU file at one time, using the Save plot data function.

  • Create one table field at a time using the table (XY) functions in AFU files as follows:In the XY Function Navigator, right-click a record in an AFU file and choose Create Table Field. In the Simulation Navigator, expand the Fields node. The new field is listed under this node.To view the data in the field, right-click the field name and choose Edit or Plot.
