DOF Set dialog box

Nodes
Select Object	Lets you select the nodes to include in the DOF set. To remove nodes, hold Shift and select the nodes to remove.
Node Labels	Lets you add nodes to the selection.Use a space or comma to separate your entries.Use a colon or a dash to add a range of node labels.For example, enter 1:10 or 1-10 to add all the node labels from 1 to 10.Use colons to add an incremented range of node labels.For example, enter:1:9:2 to add node labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.1:10:2 to add node labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10.10:1:-2 to add node labels 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.Press enter or click Select to add your entries.To edit your selection, click Edit Node Selection .
Name
Name	Sets the name of the DOF set.
Degrees of Freedom
DOF1–DOF6	Lets you set (make active) or clear (make inactive) individual degrees of freedom for all nodes in the degree of freedom set. The check box for a given degree of freedom is available only when all of the selected nodes have the same active/inactive status for that degree of freedom.When you change a degree of freedom using the Listing table for a given node, the check box for that degree of freedom appears in gray in the Degrees of Freedom group.
Listing
Edit in Place****Modify Cells/Rows	Lets you change individual degrees of freedom, all degrees of freedom, all translational, or all rotational degrees of freedom, for individual or several selected nodes.Cells — Lets you click individual cells to set or clear the degree of freedom. For example, you can set individual degrees of freedom for a single node. Rows — Lets you select multiple rows in the table and then right-click and set or clear all degrees of freedom for the selected rows, or individual degrees of freedom for the selected rows.Active degrees of freedom are marked with (green check mark). Inactive degrees of freedom are marked with (red X).
Preview
Preview	Lets you preview the DOF graphics for the nodes in the degree of freedom set.
