Reflect nodes across a plane

  1. Click Node Reflect .

  2. From the Type menu:Choose Copy and Reflect to create a single copy of the selected nodes and reflect the copied nodes across a specified plane.Choose Reflect to reflect the original set of nodes across a specified plane.

  3. Use Select Node along with the options on the Selection Method menu to select the nodes to reflect.

  4. Click Specify Plane or choose a command from the plane type menu to define the plane across which to reflect the nodes.

  5. (Optional) Use the Specify Label options to control how the software defines the labels for the new nodes.

  6. (Optional) Use the Displacement CSYS options to select or create the coordinate system to use as the displacement coordinate system for the new nodes. See Working with nodal coordinate systems for more information.

  7. Click OK or Apply.
