Adaptivity Zone dialog box

Type
Type	Lets you define a name for the exclusion zone.Suppression ZoneLets you designate regions to exclude from enhancement.See Excluding parts of the model from adaptive meshing for more information.Refinement ZoneLets you restrict mesh refinement to only a specific region within the model.See Refining specific parts of an adaptive mesh for more information.Singularity ZoneLets you designate specific regions in your model as an area in which a singularity is likely to occur. See Singularities in adaptive meshing for more information.
Selection
Group Reference	Lets you select the geometry or mesh in a group to place in an exclusion zone.For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object	Lets you select the geometry or mesh on which to define the exclusion zone.ExcludedLets you remove individual entities from within your selection.
Settings
Analysis Type	Available if Type is set to Suppression Zone or Refinement Zone.Specifies the type of analysis to which the exclusion zone applies.AllApplies the zone to structural and thermal analyses.StructuralApplies the zone to structural analyses only.ThermalApplies the zone to thermal analyses only.
