Initial Damage dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

Name
Name Sets the name of the initial damage condition that appears in the Simulation Navigator under the Simulation Objects Container node.
Description Sets the description.
Destination Folder
Simulation Objects Container Lets you specify the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the initial damage condition will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command.
Model Objects
Group Reference Lets you apply the initial damage to a group.For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object Lets you select the objects on which the initial damage will be applied.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.
Excluded Lets you remove individual entities from within your selected object.
Damage
Damage Dimension Specifies the type of damage to define: Scalar, Vector, or Tensor.
Value Appears when Damage Dimension is set to Scalar.Sets the value of the scalar damage.For more information, see the DA1 parameter of the Samcef .CLM command.
Component 1Component 2Component 3 Appear when Damage Dimension is set to Vector or Tensor.Sets the three values of the Vector damage or the first three values of the Tensor damage.For more information, see the DA3 or DA6 parameters of the Samcef .CLM command.
Component 4Component 5Component 6 Appear when Damage Dimension is set to Tensor.Sets the last three values of the Tensor damage.For more information, see the DA6 parameter of the Samcef .CLM command.
