Panel dialog box (Noise and Vibration)
Available when Vibro-Acoustic is the specified analysis type and Acoustic Transfer Vector (ATV) Response is the specified solution type.

| Type | Lets you select the type of panel.Panel on 2D Structural ElementsLets you select 2D structural (shell, laminate, or PLOTEL) elements or faces of 3D structural solid elements to create the panel.Panel on Nodes/Element FacesLets you select the nodes of element edges or faces to create the panel.Note: You cannot change the Panel Type after you create the panel. |

| Name | Specifies the name of the panel. |
| Description | Lets you enter a description for the panel.You can also Cut , Copy , and Paste text. |
| Destination Folder | |
| Simulation Object Container | Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the panel object is stored The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. The default folder is Root. |
| Folder Manager | Displays a hierarchical listing of existing folders.To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder. |
| Structural 2D Elements and Model Objects | |
| Appears when Type is set to Panel on 2D Elements or Panel on Nodes/Element Faces. | |
| Group Reference | Lets you select the groups (2D elements) to create panels.For more information, see Group Reference options. |
| Select Object | Lets you select faces of solid fluid elements to define the support for the panel. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Excluded | Lets you remove individual entities from within the selected object. |
| Distribution | |
| Appears when Type is set to Panel on Nodes/Element Faces. | |
| Method | Defines how the pressure is distributed over the selected objects.ConstantDistributes the pressure as a constant value across the selected objects.A field is always mapped to the absolute (global) or Cartesian coordinate system, even if it was defined in the cylindrical or spherical coordinate system. |
