Create an unbalance mass

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Load Type list→Unbalance Mass .

  2. In the Unbalance Mass dialog box, from the type list, select Unbalance Load .

  3. In the Nodes Group, use Select Object to select the node where the origin of the rotor coordinate system is located.

  4. In the Rotor group, select a previously defined rotor region from the list or use Create Region to create a new rotor region.

  5. In the Unbalance Load group, specify an eccentric mass and the eccentricity of the eccentric mass.

  6. Click OK.

How do I

Create connection elements between coincident nodes with CBEAR2 elements

Define rotor bearing or bushing properties

Create a rotor region

Define a rotor

Define the rotor dynamics solution parameters

Define forcing frequencies

Define nonlinear transient parameters

Set the duration of the simulation

Create a modeling object

Assign a modeling object to a solution or solution subcase
