Load Pattern dialog box
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Pattern Name | Specifies the name of the load pattern. |
| List of subcases | Lists all the subcases that are present in the structural solution that you selected in the Static Durability Event dialog box. |
| Pattern Type | Specifies how the static load from the selected subcase is converted to a load cycle.Half Unit Cycle ramps the load up from 0 to unity, and then back down to 0.Full Unit Cycle fully reverses the loading in the half-unit cycle. |
| Scale | Scales the stress or strain results to avoid performing repeated solves with different loading values. |
| Offset | Applies a nonzero mean stress or strain.Example: For the full unit cycle (red curve), a positive offset (green curve) moves the load curve (purple curve) up.A compressive mean stress indicated by a negative offset is beneficial for fatigue life, whereas a tensile mean stress indicated by a positive offset is not. |
