Define a Screen

  1. In the Simulation file, create a solution with either Simcenter 3D Thermal/Flow or Simcenter 3D Electronic Systems Cooling as the solver and the analysis type set to Flow or Coupled Thermal-Flow.

  2. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Screen .

  3. In the Screen dialog box, select the polygon face to define the extent of the screen.

  4. In the Head Loss list, select a Planar Head Loss type modeling object to define the head loss caused by the screen. You can select a previously created Planar Head Loss modeling object from the list, or click Create Modeling Object to create one.
