Create a temperature set

You can create a temperature set in the Solver Sets folder or in the solution or subcase. This example shows how to create an Initial/Stress Free Temperature type of Temperature Set.

1. In the Simulation Navigator, do one of the following:Right-click the Solver Sets folder and choose New→Temperature Set.Right-click the Temperatures container in the active solution or subcase and choose New Load Set→Temperature Set.Right-click the Loads container in the active solution or subcase and choose New Load Set→Temperature Set.

2. In the Temperature Set dialog box, from the Type list, select Initial/Stress Free Temperature.

3. In the Default Temperature box, enter a temperature.The default temperature is applied to all nodes that are not specified with the Temperature command.

4. Click OK or Apply.
