Recovering results inside a Simcenter Samcef superelement

You can recover the results inside a superelement in a Superelement Recovery solution.

In the Analysis page of that solution:

  • In the Model Using Superelement group, define the superelement to recover. For more information, see Selecting the superelement to recover (Simcenter Samcef).

  • In the Output Requests group, select the timesteps, the load cases, or the vibration modes you want to recover. For more information, see Selecting timesteps, vibration modes or loadcases to recover (Simcenter Samcef).

The recovery solution can be performed in a directory other than the one where the creation and the use of the superelement was done.

Important computation files must be retained when you want to recover the results inside a superelement. For more details, see Important files to keep for recovery purposes (Simcenter Samcef).

You cannot recover a superelement that was created by converting a superelement form another solver (Nastran, Permas, or ANSYS).

Note:

We recommend that you use the same unit system for the entire workflow: creation, use, and recovery.
