Define an Hyperfoam material (Simcenter Samcef)
You can create materials only if the Allow Local Materials customer default is selected.
Make the FEM the work part and displayed part.
Choose Home tab→Properties group→Assign Materials or Manage Materials.
In the Material List group, select Local Materials.
In the New Material group, from the Type list, select Foam.
Click Create Material .
In the materials dialog box, in the Name - Description box, type a name for the material.
In the Properties box, define the Mass Density (RHO).
On the Mechanical page, defines the Strain Energy Coefficients:Defines the Number of Points (NTPS) number of triplets of the Hyperfoam equation. You can define up to 10 triplets.Defines the MU Units units used for the MU coefficients.For each row, enter the values of the MU, Alpha, and Beta coefficients.
On the Thermal page, define the Thermal Expansion Coefficient (TEXP).
Click OK.
