Selective download of solution files

A CAESolution dataset may contain multiple results files and other solver-related files in addition to the Simulation file itself. These files can be very large, so to improve download times, you may prefer not to download them every time the Simulation file is opened from Teamcenter.

If you clear the Export Associated Files customer default check box, the associated files do not automatically download to the export directory when you open the Simulation file from Teamcenter. You can then select additional named references of the CAESolution dataset to download with the Download Teamcenter Associated Files command.

Automatic download of results

When you right-click the results in the Simulation Navigator and choose Open, or when you right-click the results in the Post Processing Navigator and choose Load, the software automatically downloads the selected results files that are not downloaded yet.
