Single point constraints for boundary nodes (LS-DYNA)
In the LS-DYNA environment, use the Single Point Constraint command to constrain the translational or rotational degrees-of-freedom of selected boundary nodes. You can use Single Point Constraint to define imposed motions on boundary nodes.
The Single Point Constraint command corresponds to the LS-DYNA *BOUNDARY_SPC keyword.
Where do I find it?
| Application | Pre/Post |
|---|---|
| Prerequisite | An active Simulation file with LS-DYNA as the specified solver |
| Command Finder | Single Point Constraint |
| Simulation Navigator | In the appropriate solution, right-click Constraint Container→New Constraint→Single Point Constraint |
