View the normal mode shapes

After solving the solution, you can view the generated normal mode shapes:

1. Double-click the Results node.-or-Click the Post Processing Navigator tab on the Resource Bar.

2. Under the node for your simulation, double-click the solution node or right-click it and choose Load.

3. For each mode, you can expand the results node and see the available result types. The available result types depend on the output requests you enabled in the Structural Output Request for the solution. For more information, see Define Response Dynamics result types.

4. Right-click a given result and choose Plot to view a contour plot of the modal result. You can perform other analysis tasks, such as animation and plotting XY graphs. For more information about post-processing, see Post-processing.

You can view the constraint and attachment modes in the Post Processing Navigator after you create the Response Dynamics solution process. For more information, see Create a Response Dynamics solution process.
