Beam Mesh Automation dialog box
Appears when the Enable structure design beam preparation early access feature is enabled. For more information, see Enable an early access feature.
| Objects to Mesh | |

| Select Curves | Lets you select curves to mesh.The curves you select are curves prepared from Structure Designer.You can also select a selection recipe that contains the curves to mesh. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Mesh Parameters | |
| Mesh Density by | Defines the default element size as a ratio or an absolute size.NumberLets you specify the total number of elements per edge to create on the selected curve.SizeLets you specify the approximate size of the elements to create. |
| Number of Elements | Appears when Mesh Density by is set to Number.Specifies the number of elements to distribute along the curve. |
| Element Size | Appears when Mesh Density by is set to Size.Specifies the overall element size for the mesh. |
| Merge Nodes | Controls whether the software merges coincident nodes between the endpoints of two curves. |
