Set up a flow zone association for mapping pressure results

Note:

A source model refers to a model with a solution that contains Analysis Type set to any flow type.

A target model refers to a model with a solution that contains Analysis Type set to Mapping.

Create a flow association zone in the source model

  1. Choose Mapping .

  2. In the Mapping dialog box, from the Type list, select Flow Association Zone.

  3. In the model, select the region that contains the elements with the flow results that you want to map.

  4. Click OK.

Create a flow target zone in the target model

  1. Choose Flow Target Zone .

  2. In the Flow Target Zone dialog box, do the following:To map the flow results to elements, in the Destination Elements group, select the elements.To map the flow results to nodes, in the Destination Nodes group, select the nodes.

  3. Click Update Zones.

  4. From the Flow Association Zone list, select the flow association zone that you created in the source model.

  5. Click OK.
