Spring damper mesh associated data properties (Simcenter Samcef)

You can use the Simcenter Samcef Spring Damper 1D element to define a damped spring between two nodes.

You select a nonlinear behavior law for the force or the displacement in the spring. You can add a viscous, a hysteretical or an exponential damping.

You can define the spring with unconstrained length and clearances.

You can also enable specific results to be computed.

For more information, see Mesh Associated Data dialog box (Simcenter Samcef spring damper).

For more information on the Spring Damper 1D element, see the SPRI element page in the Simcenter Samcef documentation.
