New Assembly FEM dialog box
| Assembly FEM Name | |

| Displays the name of the Assembly FEM file created by the New Assembly FEM command. | |
| CAD Part | |
| Map to Part | Maps the new assembly FEM to the selected Master part. Select the check box to create an associative assembly FEM. |
| Part to Map to | |
| Displayed only when Map to Part is selected. | |
| Assembly Parts Only | Filters the Part list to show only assembly parts. |
| Part | Specifies the part file to map the Assembly FEM file to. Select an open part file from the list, or click Open Part to browse for a part file. |
| Solver Environment | |
| Solver | Specifies the solver to use. |
| Analysis Type | Allows you to choose from a number of valid analysis types depending on your selected solver. |
| 2D Solid Option | Allows you to choose the plane on which you can create axisymmetric, plane strain, and plane stress elements.None — No 2D solid elements can be used.ZX Plane, Z Axis (Simcenter Nastran, Simcenter 3D Multiphysics, MSC Nastran solvers) — If 2D solid elements are used, they must be on the ZX plane. The rotational axis is Z.XY Plane, X Axis (Simcenter Nastran, Simcenter 3D Multiphysics solvers) — If 2D solid elements are used, they must be on the XY plane. The rotational axis is X.XY Plane, Y Axis (ANSYS, Abaqus solvers) — If 2D solid elements are used, they must be on the XY plane. The rotational axis is Y. |
