Add user extensions to a Specialist Durability solution
Make the Simulation file the work part and the displayed part, and choose Specialist Durability tab→Specialist Solution group→Simulation Objects .
In the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box, in the New Parameter group, in the Type list, select Functionality Providers and click Create .
In the Functionality Providers dialog box, in the Library Name boxes specify the name of up to five DLL files which define user extensions of the solver and click OK.
In the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box, create additional custom simulation objects that have been added to your installation to support the user extensions. Close the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box.
Choose Specialist Solution group→Analysis Templates . Right-click the analysis template from which to create your custom analysis template, and select Copy.
In the Analysis Template Configuration dialog box, specify a name for your custom analysis template. In the Required Objects group or the Optional Objects group, add the Functionality Providers simulation object as well as any additional custom simulation object that you created in Step 4. Click OK.
Choose Specialist Solution group→Solver Profiles . In the Solver Profiles dialog box, click Create .
In the Solver Profile Configuration dialog box, click Add to List .
In the Parameter List dialog box, select Library Search as the Type and click Create .
In the Library Search dialog box, specify the Library Search Path options that will locate the DLL files that define your user extensions. Click OK.
Click OK in the Parameter List dialog box and in the Solver Profile Configuration dialog box.
Choose Specialist Durability tab→Specialist Solution group→Durability Solution .
In the Specialist Durability Solution dialog box, in the Analysis Setup tab, select your custom analysis template from the Analysis Template list. Click OK.
When you solve the solution, in the Solve dialog box, specify your custom solver profile in the Profile box.
