Mesh Control dialog box–Biasing on Edge density type options

Selection
Select Targets	Lets you select the edges or curves to which to apply the Biasing on Edge density.
Biasing on Edge
Bias Origin	Choose the location on the curve or curves where the software should produce a greater density of nodes. The software uses the first selected as the seed edge that determines the direction in which the software biases the distribution of elements The software uses arrows to indicate the default biasing direction.To generate the mesh in a different direction select an option from the Bias Origin list.Select Start of Edge to bias the nodal distribution starting from the beginning of the edge.Select End of Edge to bias the nodal distribution starting from the end of the edge.Select Center of Edge to bias the nodal distribution starting from the middle of the edge.
Number of Elements	Enter the number of elements to create along the selected edge.You can specify the number of elements as an integer value, or you can specify the number as an expression. See Expressions for more information.
Bias Ratio	Lets you specify a geometric ratio to control the spacing, based on arc length, between the biased nodes.
Edge Fraction	Appears if you select either Start of Edge or End of Edge from the Bias Origin list.Enter the fraction of the total edge to which the software should apply the biasing.
Auto Size	Click Auto Size to have the software automatically calculate a suggested number of elements.
Preview
Automatic	Select Automatic to have the software automatically preview the distribution of nodes along an edge using the parameters you specify.
Preview	Previews the distribution of nodes along the edge using the parameters you specify.
