Meshing > Meshing for aeroelasticity analyses
Checking aerodynamic panel meshes
Use the Aero Mesh Check command to validate aerodynamic panel meshes. For example, the command checks that:
All aerodynamic panel meshes reference the same aerodynamic coordinate system.
For assembly FEMs, their component FEM files refer to the same aerodynamic coordinate system.
All elements are of the same type and that there are no missing elements.
Node and element labels are consistent and do not conflict with any labels for the structural nodes and elements.
If the Aero Mesh Check command identifies any issues with the mesh, the software prints the information to the Information and graphics windows.
