| Modeling Object | |
|---|---|
| Name | Sets a name for the modeling object. |
| Label | Sets a unique numeric identifier for the modeling object. |
| Properties | |
| Description | Sets a description for the modeling object.Click Description to set the description in an editor box. |
| Stopping Criteria | |
| Criteria | Specifies the stopping criteria that the flow solver uses to determine if the absolute temperature converges over the selected region.Absolute DifferenceStops the analysis when the absolute difference of the average absolute temperature, between two consecutive iterations, is less than the value specified in the Absolute Temperature box.Relative DifferenceStops the analysis when the relative difference of the average absolute temperature, between two consecutive iterations, is less than the value specified in the Absolute Temperature (%) box.Upper LimitStops the analysis when the computed average absolute temperature is greater than the value specified in the Absolute Temperature box.Lower LimitStops the analysis when the computed average absolute temperature is less than the value specified in the Absolute Temperature box. |
| Averaging Method | |
| Method | Specifies the averaging method that the flow solver uses to compute a single value for the absolute temperature over the selected region. The flow solver uses this value to determine if the analysis is converged.Absolute Maximum ValueRetrieves the absolute maximum value of the absolute temperature over the selected region.Maximum ValueRetrieves the maximum value of the absolute temperature over the selected region.Absolute Minimum ValueRetrieves the absolute minimum value of the absolute temperature over the selected region.Minimum ValueRetrieves the minimum value of the absolute temperature over the selected region.Algebraic Average ValueComputes the algebraic average absolute temperature value over the selected region.Volumetric Average ValueComputes the volumetric average absolute temperature value over the selected region. |
| Magnitude | |
| Absolute Temperature | Sets the target absolute temperature convergence value that the flow solver uses to stop the analysis when the computed absolute temperature reaches the specified target value.Note: When you choose Relative Difference as the stopping criteria, you set the target absolute temperature as a percentage value. |
