Using Assembly Load Options for CAE model data

Because your CAE model is an assembly, how the software locates and loads CAE component data is determined by your current Assembly Load Options settings. If your Part Versions assembly load options are inconsistent with how you store and manage CAE files, you may encounter issues with correctly loading saved CAE models.

Note:

Although the FEM-CAD association is not an assembly relationship, it also maintains your current assembly load options.

Each assembly load option has advantages and disadvantages. How you choose to store, manage, and share CAE data depends on the assembly load options you use. Your company's policies and practices regarding CAD assembly data apply to CAE model data as well.

Assembly load options are stored as a user preference. If you encounter errors when you load CAE model data, check your assembly load options to ensure that they are appropriate for the files you are trying to load.
