Single Point Constraint dialog box (LS-DYNA)
| Destination Folder | |
|---|---|
| Constraint Container | Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the boundary condition will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. Examples of a root container include Load Container, Constraint Container, and Simulation Object Container. |
| Folder Manager | Displays a hierarchical listing of existing folders. To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder. |

| Group Reference | Lets you apply the constraint to a group.For more information, see Group Reference options. |
| Select Object | Lets you select the geometry, mesh points, or nodes to which to apply the constraint.Use the Excluded options to remove individual entities, such as edges, from your selection. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |

| Displacement CSYS | Lets you select the displacement coordinate system in which to apply the constraint.Global: Applies the constraint in the global coordinate system.Cartesian: Applies the constraint in the selected Cartesian coordinate system.Cylindrical: Applies the constraint in the selected cylindrical coordinate system.Spherical: Applies the constraint in the selected spherical coordinate system. |
| Local | Lets you create or select a local coordinate system. |
| Degrees of Freedom | |
| DOFX , DOFY, DOFZ****DOFRX, DOFRY, DOFRZ | Defines the magnitude of the enforced displacement for each of the six translational and rotational degrees of freedom (DOF).Fixed: Allows no movement in the DOF.Free: Allows free movement in the DOF. |
| All Free | Sets all DOF to free. |
| All Fixed | Sets all DOF to fixed. |
| Card Name | Displays the name of the associated LS-DYNA keyword. |
