Filtering results in laminate spreadsheet reports

You can output filtered and sorted ply results in laminate spreadsheet reports. You can use the following quantities to filter the results:

• The ply stress or strain components

• The maximum or minimum principal stress or strain

• The maximum shear stress or strain

• The ply or bond failure index, strength ratio, or margin of safety

You can also request the data on selected elements and plies. The spreadsheet report displays all laminate results that contain a certain value above or below a specified threshold. For each element, the ply results table displays the following information in the requested order:

• The ply ID and computation location

• The value of all specified quantities

Computation location and Abaqus section points

For each ply, the number of computation locations is equal to the number of Abaqus section points. The first section point is indicated by Bottom, the last section point by Top, and all others by Middle.
