Thin Shell dialog box (Thermal/Flow/SST/ESC)
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Defines the name of the physical property table. |
| Label | Defines the unique numeric identifier for the physical property table. |
| Thickness | |
| Thickness | Specifies the thickness of the associated 2D elements. The thermal solver uses this value to calculate the volume of the elements and the surface area of the element edges. |
| Non-Structural Mass | |
| Specify Non-Structural Mass | Lets you add additional mass to the associated 2D elements. This can be useful if the surface being modeled has additional features that affect thermal analyses but which do not need to be modeled in detail. |
| Mass per Area | Lets you specify the mass per area of the associated 2D elements. |
| Material | Lets you assign a different material to the non-structural mass. Select an existing material from the list or click Choose material to create a new material. |
