Solution dialog box (Noise and Vibration)

Solution
Name Specifies the name of the solution.
Solver Specifies the solver for the solution.
Analysis Type Specifies the analysis type. The solution uses the Vibro-Acoustic type that lets you:Create acoustic fluid in both the interior and the exterior of the modelSpecify fluid-structure interaction, where the software transfers structural vibrations to the acoustic domain.
Solution Type Specifies the solution type.Modal Acoustic Transfer Vector (MATV) ResponseComputes vibro-acoustic responses of a model that contains both an ATV Set (from a FEM or BEM analysis) and a Mode Set, coupling definition, and Modal Participation Factors (MPFs).Acoustic Transfer Vector (ATV) ResponseCompute vibro-acoustic responses of a model that contains both an ATV Set (from a FEM or BEM analysis) and pre-computed motions (displacements, velocities, or accelerations) in frequency domain from an external file.Inverse Numerical AcousticsComputes estimated vibrations (as acoustic particle velocities) from a model that contains only one ATV Set (from a FEM or BEM analysis) and measured or pre-computed acoustic pressures from an external file.
Automatically Create Step or Subcase Appears when you click Create Solution.Creates a step or subcase automatically.
Forcing Frequencies
Appears when you click Create Solution.
Forcing Frequencies Lets you create a Forcing Frequencies modeling object to specify the forcing frequencies for the computation.Click Create Forcing Frequencies or Edit Forcing Frequencies to open the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box where you can add a new Forcing Frequencies modeling object or edit an existing one.For more information, see Define forcing frequencies (Acoustics BEM).
Output Requests
Appears when you click Create Solution.
Output Requests Specifies the output request for the solution.Select an existing output request from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new output request.Click Edit to edit the selected output request.
Vibro-Acoustic Coupling
Appears when the Solution Type is set to Modal Acoustic Transfer Vector (MATV) Response or Acoustic Transfer Vector (ATV) Response, and you click Create Solution.
Fluid-Structure Interface Modeling Parameters Specifies the vibro-acoustic coupling for the solution.Select an existing fluid-structure interface modeling parameters from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create new fluid-structure interface modeling parameters.Click Edit to edit the selected fluid-structure interface modeling parameters.
Regularization
Appears when the Solution Type is set to Inverse Numerical Acoustics and you click Create Solution.
Regularization Specifies the regularization method and parameters for the solution.Select an existing regularization modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new modeling object.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object.
Job Control
Appears when you click Create Solution.
Run Job in Foreground Lets you control whether the solution runs in the foreground or background. You can:Select the Run Job in Foreground check box to run the solution in the foreground so the software is unavailable during the solve. Clear the Run Job in Foreground check box to run the solution in the background so you can use this software while the solve is running. You can even close the software.
