Duty Cycle dialog box
| Name - Description | |
|---|---|
| Name | Sets the load event name. |
| Description | Sets a description for the load event. |
| Available Events | |
| Filter | Lets you filter the load events listed in the Available Events group. NameLets you filter the list by the event name. This filter supports wildcards. The default wildcard is the asterisk (), and it displays all entries in the list. For example, to filter the list to display every load event with a name starting with the letter “a," enter a as the filter string. TypeLets you filter the list by the load event type. |
| Available Events list | Lists all the available load events in the Simulation file and lets you select them. You can sort the list using the column headers. |
| Event Manager | Opens the Event Manager dialog box that lets you create or modify a load event. |
| Information | Available when you select a load event from the Available Events list.Opens and information window that displays details on a selected event. |
| Selected Events | |
| Selected events list | Lists the selected load events, and displays their status and the number of repetitions of each load event. It lets you manage the selected events to create a duty cycle event. You can sort the list using the column headers. The specialist durability performs the solution process as per the order of the load events in the list.To add the load events to the list, select them from the Available Events group and click Add to List .When you select a load event from the selected event list, you can:Remove from List Removes the selected load event from the list.Move up or Move down Moves the selected load event relative to the other events.Activate or Deactivate Activates or deactivates the selected event without removing them from the selected events list. |
| Repetitions | Lets you set the number of repetition for the selected load events. This number reflects the number of times a particular load will be applied in the durability analysis. |
| Options | |
| Event Order | Lets you choose to ignore or account for the order of the load events.Ignore Event OrderComputes the combination of the selected load events as one case in one single solver run. The result for each individual load event is computed independently, and the load events order does not affect the results.Account for Event OrderComputes the combination of selected load events as one case. The result for each individual load event is not computed. Since the non-closed cycles of the previous load events is included in the computation, the load events order affects the results.Note: The Account for Event Order option is not supported when you add a random or harmonic load event to the Selected Events group. |
