Create a Thermal Void load

Click Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Load Type list →Thermal Void .

In the Regions 1-5 group, in the Region 1 row, click Create Region .

Select the polygon edges to specify the thermal void.

In the Region dialog box, set the following:

  1. Pressure (Pressure group) = 0.0102 N/mm^2(MPa)

  2. Heat Transfer Coefficient (Heat Transfer group) = 175 W/m^2-dC

Click OK.

In the Thermal Void dialog box, in the Regions 1-5 group, in the Region 2 row, click Create Region .

Select the polygon edges to specify the thermal void.

In the Region dialog box, set the following:

  1. Pressure (Pressure group) = 0.0102 N/mm^2(MPa)

  2. Heat Transfer Coefficient (Heat Transfer group) = 195 W/m^2-dC

  3. Swril Velocity (Heat Transfer group) = 0.1 mm/sec

Click OK.

In the Thermal Void dialog box, set the following:

  1. Fluid Material = Air

  2. Heat Load = 0.001 W

Click OK.
