Physical properties and element attributes > Material orientation
View material orientation graphically
Choose Home tab→Checks and Information group→Element Material Orientation . Or, right-click the mesh and choose Check→Material Orientation.
In the graphics window, select either the elements to check or select Displayed in the Element Material Orientation dialog box to check all displayed elements.
Use the Display Settings to select the directions to view. You can choose whether to hide the arrowheads of the symbols that represent the orientation, and display only lines. For 3D elements, you can view the first, second, and third direction independently or all three simultaneously. You can also display the orientation on only exterior solid elements.
Choose the colors in which to display the direction axes of the material coordinate systems.
Click Display Element Material Orientation.
