Requesting thermal, flow, and thermal-flow output for Simcenter 3D Multiphysics
Depending on the analysis type, use the Thermal Output Requests, Flow Output Requests, or Thermal-Flow Output Requests modeling object to request the types of thermal or flow output that the software lists to the BUN file when you solve your thermal, flow, or thermal/flow portion of a coupled analysis in a Multiphysics solution. When you create an output request, you select each type of result you want the solver to output.
Output request types
The tabbed pages on these modeling object dialog boxes let you select specific output request types as well as options to control them. For a list of available output requests, see:
Thermal output requests
3D flow output requests
Radiation output requests
Radiative source flux output requests
1D flow output requests
Customer defaults settings to control output request defaults
Customer Defaults options let you to control which output requests are selected by default in the output request modeling object dialog boxes. You can set the defaults in the File→Utilities→Customer Defaults dialog box, on the Simulation→Pre/Post→Simcenter 3D Multiphysics→Results Options tab.
